# SignlDAW

> SignlDAW is a digital audio workstation built around Tone Transfer: choose a reference track and Signl builds a tailored tone, mix and master for your project in about 30 seconds. No plugins to buy, no tutorials, no mixing theory. Working v0.1.11 copies are available for payment-platform review and evaluation. This is not a commercial or early-access launch. Paid subscriptions are not yet open. The waitlist is for commercial launch updates.

## How Tone Transfer works

1. Import your project: drag and drop it in. Every track is created and filled with its clips, as it was in your previous DAW.
2. Choose a reference: search by track or artist and pick the song you want to sound like.
3. Tone Transfer does the work: Signl builds a processing chain for the project and places the effects across your tracks and master. Then you hit play.
4. Send it to your bandmates: one link. Collaborators open the project with its sound and processing intact, with no stems, archives or plugin matching.

## Other features

- Real-time audio-to-MIDI: polyphonic conversion in real time, full chords rather than single notes, under 10 ms latency, no MIDI keyboard required.
- Playable instruments: turn a sound into an instrument you can play with MIDI.
- Blackbox: shared projects keep sounding the same even when collaborators do not have the same plugins installed.
